'Gwyl Arall' (another festival)

Shortly after moving back to North Wales I was given the chance to take part in 'Gwyl Arall' which was a jam packed weekend full of Welsh music, art, craft, poetry, films and much more! It was brilliant to take part in a local event and feel part of the community.
This was my first craft fair, (very exciting) I collaborated with two lovely ladies that I met on my foundation course Sarah Williams and Charlotte Ann Williams, we had a varied vintage inspired stall of textiles, prints, cards, jewellery and other lovely little handmade gifts! The response we had was amazing and we all did very well. A massive thank you to everyone who came to support us. Diolch yn fawr i bawb a ddoth draw i gefnogi!

New Designers, London

I was extremely fortunate to be chosen to exhibit my final degree show work at New Designers at the Business Design Centre in London last month. And what an amazing experience it was!! :).
It was a very intense and suuper overwhelming few days! Although it would have been better for me personally to have exhibited in the first part, but our course fitted in better in the second. It was quite hard to compete with all the furniture and product designers!..but at the same time it was good that our stand was that bit different to the others. New Designers was great to get talking to other graduates, buyers, gallerists, bloggers...and the list could go on and on! All in all been given the chance to take part in such an event has most probably been one of the best experiences of this year so far. Take a peek at the photos :)...writing this post makes me want to goo back! Lora xx
